The SNAIL POWER audio brand was founded by Steven, a renowned professional audio designer, in Milan, Italy, in 1995. Steven, who had worked for both the professional audio company dB Technologies and the hi-fi company Sonus Faber, combined his expertise in both professional and consumer audio to create unique SNAIL POWER products.

In the same year of its founding, SNAIL POWER launched the U1 home theater speaker. The U1, though compact, delivers powerful performance. It quickly gained popularity in Italy due to its high-quality sound, elegant design, easy installation, and affordable price. Featured in several media outlets, it was hailed as "leading the new era of modern home theater speakers."

In the audio industry, SNAIL POWER products are recognized for their distinct "Danish sound" signature. They offer a sweet soprano, smooth baritone, and full bass, achieving an optimal balance in openness, clarity, and continuity.
